Y=3x-2 3x-y=4 whats the solution

    Y=3x-2

    Y=3 (0) - 2

    Y=-2

    Y=3x-2

    (0) = 3x-2

    0 = 3x-2

    Then divide 3 by three to have x by itself and do the same on the other side

    Therefore since 0/3 is 0 you end up with

    0 = x - 2

    Then you add two to the negative two, and do so to the zero as well.

    Therefore

    2 = x, and you could flip it to x = 2

    Your solution is

    x = 2, y = - 2

    (2,-2) if you are looking for coordinates.
