    -1 + 6 (-1 - 3x) > - 39 - 2x.

Multiply the number outside of the parenthesis (6) by the numbers inside of the parenthesis (-1 and - 3x)

    -1 - 6 - 18x> - 39 - 2x

Add 2x to both sides so that the x variable is only on one side

    -1 - 6 - 16x> - 39

    Add 1 to both sides

    -6 - 16x> - 38

    Add 6 to both sides

    -16x> - 32

Divide both sides by - 16 so that the only thing that remains is the variable x on one side. Also, since you are dividing by a negative number, you automatically flip the greater than side to less than.

    Final Answer: x< - 2
