    8:15 a. m to 12:45 p. m ... 4 hrs 30 min

    took 45 min lunch (not paid) ... now its 1:30 p. m ...

    1:30 p. m. to 6:45 pm = 5 hrs 15 min

    5 hrs 15 min + 4 hrs 30 min = 9 hrs 45 min or 9 3/4 hrs

    $ 16 for first 8 hrs ... overtime pay is $ 24 per hr ... leaving 1 hr and 45 min or 1 3/4 hrs overtime

    16 + 24 (7/4) = 16 + 42 = $ 58 <===
