Neil and Manny have different amounts of money. If Manny gives Neil $6, then Neil and Manny will have the same amount of money. If Neil gives Manny $6, then Manny will have 3 times as much money as Neil. Together, do Neil and Manny have enough money to buy a $50 video game? Show your work or explain how you found your answer.     Neil would have $6, and Manny would have $12. $6+$6=$12 that manny has, so they would both have the same amount of money. But if Neil gives manny $6, then Manny would have $18, which is three times greater than $6 that Neil has. $12+$6 only equals $18, so they don't have enough money to buy the game.
