A shop sells apples at $1 each. Each of these apples are wrapped in a special wrapper. You can trade 3 of these wrappers for 1 apple. If you have $15, how many apples can you get altogether?

    This doesn't make sense because the answer is not any of these choices.

    If they cost $1.00 each and you have $15.00 that buys you 15 apples

    3 wrappers will get you another apple

    you will get 15 wrappers. 15 wrappers

    3wrappersx5apples=15wrappers total

    So you get 5 apples plus the 15 apples=20 apples total
