Which equivalent fractions can you use to find the sum of 2 5/6 + 1 3/4

    The answer is 4 and 7/12. You have to find common denominators of both numbers which is 12 (multiply six by two to equal 12 and the 4 by 3 and in return, multuply the numerator of 5 by 2 since you did that to the bottom and 3 by 3. then add the fractions and whole numbers
