1. In 1758, the dimensions expanded to 96 feet by 32 feet. What was the perimeter?

2. Washington's last addition was called the New Room, often used for parties. Most homes at the time could have fit in just this room! It's perimeter was 108 feet. The length was 31 feet. What was the room's width?

    Because 96 + 96 + 32 + 32 = 156

    2.) answer = 23

    Because 108 - 31 - 31 = 46

    46/2 = 23
