Drill the holes on centers that are 2.3077 inches apart, with the first one

located 2.3077 inches from one end of the board.

Then all holes will be evenly spaced, and the 1st and the 12th hole

will be 2.3077 inches from the ends of the board.

    30 divided by 12 equals 2.5

The holes need to be 2.5 inches apart.
