Josie tells her clients to drink water when training. Drink 500 mL two hours before a training session. Drink 250 mL at the start of a training session. Drink 150 mL every fifteen minutes up to the end of a training session. Each training session lasts for one hour.

    250 at start of session

    (1 hr = 60 min ... 60/15 = 4 ... so there is 4 fifteen minute intervals in 1 hr.)

    150 every 15 minutes ... 150 x 4 = 600

    so total amount of water is : 500 + 250 + 600 = 1350 ml
