Ms. longobardo said that 4/12 times 3 = 12/36. Is she correct? Why or why not? If she is wrong, what is the right answer

    No, she is not correct because 4/12 is the same as 12/36 since they both can simplify to 1/3.

    The correct answer is 4/12 times 3 = 36/36

    36/36 can simplify to 1 though.
