To get the total number of markers, multiply the number of students by the number of markers for each student. 25 x 3 = 75. Then divide the number of markers needed by the number of markers in each box to find how many boxes are needed. If it is a decimal, round up to the nearest whole number. Edit: If there are 8 markers in each package and 75 markers are needed, divide 75 by 8, which equals 9.375. Then round up to 10. 10 packages of markers are needed.
