Rearrange the formula P = 2 (l + b) for b.

A) b = (P - 2l) B) b = P/2 - 2l C) b = P/2 + 2l D) b = 1/2 (P - 2l)

    I think it is D, since

    P = 2 (l + b)

    :2

    P/2 = l + b

    - l

    P/2 - l = b

    which can be rearranged by multiplying by 2

    which gets you

    (P - 2l) = 2b

    : 2 again

    then you get

    1/2 (P - 2l) = b
