A martini glass has the shape of a cone (on a stem). If 1cm^3 = 1mL, how many milliliters of liquid can the glass hold.

Use x=3.14 (10.9 cm left to right) and (4.8cm top to bottom)

    Volume of glass = pie * r^2 * h / 3

    = 3.14 * 10.9/2 * 10.9/2 * 4.8/3

    = 149.2 cm ^3

    i. e equal to 149 ml of liquid which a glass can hold.
