    To set up an equation correctly and ultimately calculate what is asked, it is important to understand the problem statement and the given values. We do as follows:

    (11/8) / (2/3) = x/y

    x = 33y/16

    x + y = 245

    x + 16x/33 = 245

    1.48x = 245

    x = 97.97 pounds peanuts
