    Rearrange: 2y = 6 - 3x

    2y = - 3x + 6

    y = - 1.5x + 3

    Now, substitute, perpendicular lines have the same gradient so:

    -1 = - 1.5 (2) + c

    - 1 = - 3 + c

    2 = c

    equation for new line: y = 1.5x + 2
