    Yes, if you do it correctly by following the Algebraic way you would get:

    x-4=5

    you need to find x.

    you can do this by subtracting 4 from the x side and adding it to 5.

    so it would be x = 5+4

    then you jsut add 5 and 4 and you get x.

    so x = 9.
