Okay, so 7/20 is 0.35.

Why would you multiply it by 5?

    ou need to get it over 100 for easy change to a decimal.

    7/20 is equal to 35/100.

    You multiplied the 20 by 5 to get 100

    You need to multiply the 7 by 5 to get 35

    You get 35/100

    Any number over 1 is itself.

    Divide 100 by 100 to get 1

    Divide 35 by 100 (You can do that right) to get 0.35

    =0.35
