    A: [2 (200-x) ]/3 B: 31.33333 ...

    Step-by-step explanation:

    A: Algebraic expression:

    Let's say average = x

    So the expression is [2 (200-x) ]/3

You have to take average away from 200, which is 200-x, you have to multiply that whole expression by 2, and then divide everything by 3.

    B: Plug in 153 for x:

    2 (200-153) / 3 and then just solve algebraically

    =2 (47) / 3

    =94/3

    =31.33333 ...
