    37.86 mph and 40.86 mph

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The speed for the first session is x, for the second session will be x+3

    Average speed = (x+x+3) / 2 = x+1.5

    Total distance covered will be 228+205=433 miles

    Time = 11 hours

    Time = Distance / speed

    Speed = distance/time

    Average Speed = 433/11

    x+1.5=433/11

    x+1.5=39.36363636

    x=39.36363636 - 1.5 = 37.86363636

    Approximately, x = 37.86 mph

    x+3=37.86+3 = 40.86 mph
