A field is a rectangle with a perimeter of 920 feet. The length is 100 feet more than the width. Find the width and length of the rectangular field.

    We''ll call the length "w + 100) "

    2*w + 2 * (w+100) = 920

    2w + 2w + 200 = 920

    4w = 720

    width = 180

    Length = 280
