    Step-by-step explanation:

    Perimeter of a rectangle = (length+width) * 2

    Let W=x, L=2x+2

    25=[ (2x+2) + x]*2

    25=[2x+2+x]*2

    Solve for x

    25/2=3x+2

    25/2-2=3x

    25-4/2=3x

    21/2=3x=7/2=x
