    18 gallons of color

    Step-by-step explanation:

First we have 5 gal of base and 1 gal of color. When you add them together you get 6 gal of colored paint. Then we divied 108 by 6 to get 18. Now if it was 3 base and 2 color then you would multiply 18 by 2. But scence the ratio is 5/1 the answer is 18.
