    Bobby saw 11 animals in total

    Step-by-step explanation:

    we will represent the relationships that give us

    L = Lions

    E = Elefaphants

    G = Giraffes

    A = Animals

    L = 2

    E = 4 * L

    G = 1/2 * L

    A = L + E + G

    in the second and third equations we replace L with its value (2)

    E = 4 * L

    E = 4 * 2

    E = 8

    G = 1/2 * L

    G = 1/2 * 2

    G = 1

    now in the last equation we replace the values of L, E and G

    A = L + E + G

    A = 2 + 8 + 1

    A = 11

    Bobby saw 11 animals in total
