Kim and Mary are mowing a 5000 square foot lawn. Kim mows 3/5 of the lawn. What fraction of the lawn does Mary need to mow? How many square feet does Mary need to mow?

    Mary needs to mow 2/5 of the lawn to finish the remaining section. Mary needs to mow 2,000 square feet. You find your answer by first diving 5000/5=1000 to see how big the sections are. You do 1000x2=2,000 to find how much Mary has to mow
