The function f (x) = 7 - 4x + x2 written in vertex form is f (x) = (x - 2) 2 + 3. What is the axis of symmetry for the function?

x = - 3

x = - 2

x = 2

    The axis of symmetry is the x value of the veretx

    y=a (x-h) ^2+k

    (h, k) is vertex

    h=x value

    f (x) = (x-2) ^2+3

    x value is 2

    x=2 is vertex
