Solve the following system of equations using substitution.

5y = x - 15

-3y = - 12x - 9

    x = 5y + 15

    -3y = - 12 (5y + 15)

    -3y = - 60y - 180

    57y = 180

    y = 60/19 = 3 3/19

    x = 5 (60/19) + 15

    x = 300/19 + 15

    x = 300/19 + 285/19

    x = 585/19 = 30 15/19
