The perimeter of a rectangular plot of land is 180 meters. If the length of one side of the plot is 30 meters,

what is the area of the plot, in square meters?

    The answer is 1800 because the formula for area is length * width. Meaning if the perimeter is 180 total then the width of the other sides would have to be 60 meters so 30 * 60 is 1800.
