    The length of Diagonal of the sandwich is 5.830 inches

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given as:

    The length of sandwich = 3 inches

    The width of sandwich = 5 inches

    Now, According to question, The sandwich is cut into to equal right triangle

    So, As It become Right angle Triangle

    ∴ From Pythagoras Theorem

    H² = P² + B²

    Or, Diagonal² = 3² + 5²

    Or, Diagonal² = 9 + 25 = 34

    ∴ Diagonal = √34 inches = 5.830 inches

    Hence The length of Diagonal of the sandwich is 5.830 inches Answer
