    First of all, 8 + 7 = 15, so we divide 195 by 15, and get 13. Each unit has 13 children.

    The ratio is: Boys Girls

    8 : 7

    Now all we have to do is multiply. 8 x 13 = 104. 7 x 13 = 91.

    Therefore, there are 104 boys and 91 girls.

    Boys : girls

    8 : 7

    Total = 15

    Boys = 8/15 * 195

    = 8 * 13

    =104 boys

    Girls could be found in two ways

    WAY 1

    195 - 104 = 91 girls

    OR

    WAY 2

    Girls = 7/15 * 195

    = 7 * 13

    = 91
