Y=-16x^2+24x+6 quadratic

If you substitute 12 + 2x for y in the second equation how is the resulting equation written in standard form?

    the second part is : b. 2 (x-1) (8x-3) = 0

    the third part is : (.375, 12.75) and (1, 14)
