    Answer: 3 cm²

    Step-by-step explanation:

    White triangle tip is in center that means that one side of triangle is even with breadth of flag

    a ₁=b=12 cm

    Hight of triangle is half of flag length

    h₁=a/2=20 cm/2=10 cm

    use equatin for area of triangle

    A=a₁*h₁/2

    A=12*10/2

    A=60cm²

    Red star takes 5% of white triangle area.

    A₂=60 cm²*5% = 60cm² * (5/100) = 300cm²/100=3cm²
