    P=172 since A=s^2=1849. You would take the square root and get s=43. The perimeter is P=4s so P=4 (43) = 172.

    Perimeter = 4l

    (because a square has 4 equal sides)

    Area = l x w (or 2l)

    1849 = 2l

    924.5 = l

    Perimeter = 4 (924.5)

    3698

    Therefore the perimeter is 3698
