Koby's solution for 4 (x - 3) = x + 2 is shown at the right. Did he solve the equation correctly? Explain why

4 (x - 3) = 3x + 2

4x - 12 = 1/x + 2

2. (4X - 12) = 2 · (3x + 2

8x - 12 = x + 2

8x = x + 14

7x = 14
