Three hamburgers and two hotdogs cost $13. Two hamburgers and four hotdogs cost $14 what is the cost of one hamburger? What is the cost of one hotdog?

    3b + 2h = 13

    2b + 4h = 14

    Elimination Method:

    2 (3b + 2h = 13)

    -3 (2b + 4h = 14)

    6b+4h=26

    -6b-12h=-42

    -8h = - 16

    H = 2

    Substitute:

    2b + 8 = 14

    2b = 6

    B = 3

    One burger is $3

    One hotdog is $2
