    They are alike.

    The first statement means whatever Cal has is 12 blocks less than that of Mia e. g if cal has 14 then Mia will have 26.

    The second statement means whatever Mia has is 12 blocks more than that of Cal e. g if Mia has 26 blocks Cal will have 14 blocks.

    Both statements testify that Mia has 12 more blocks than Cal

    this statement are nothing alike because of the word fewer and many. Fewer means less while more means lot
