Use a graphing calculator to find the value of f (x) when x = 2 for the function f (x) = x2-5.

    f (2) = 2 * 2 - 5 = - 1

    but if you meant f (x) = x²-5

    its

    f (2) = 2²-5 = 4-5 = - 1

    it's indeed not the same for all other values of x, for example x=3!
