    12 ft and 25 ft

    Step-by-step explanation:

    a part is x ft and the other is (2x+1) ft

    so 37 = x + 2x+1

    37 = 3x+1

    -1 - 1

    36 = 3x

    :3 : 3

    x = 36:3

    I = x = 12 ft

    II = 2x+1=2*12+1=25 ft
