Julia had $80. She wants to purchase a nail paint set for $16 and earrings. She spends the rest of her money on earrings. each pair of earrings cost $8. write an inequality for the number of pairs of earrings she can purchase.

    Julia had 80$ and used 16$, so you subtract and you get 64$ left for Julie. Now you divide 8 because of the cost of each pair of earrings. You'll get 8 pairs of the earrings from the division, so thats your answer, 8 pairs of earrings.
