Which of the following statements have the same result? Explain each step in solving each one.

    2 x = 5 y - 3

    f^ (-1) (x) = (5 x - 3) / 2

    f^ (-1) (3) = (15 - 3) / 2 = 12 / 2 = 6

    3 y - 7 = y + 5

    3 y - y = 5 + 7

    2 y = 12
