    Answer: His friend's speed is 54.2km/hr. Rounded to one decimal place.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The speed held by john = 65km/hr

    Time = 5 hour.

    Since they both follow the same route we calculate the distance first.

    Speed = Distance/time

    65 = distance/5

    Distance = 65 * 5

    Distance = 325km.

    Now for the speed his friend cover with the same route will have the same distance.

    Distance = 325km

    Time = 6hours

    Speed = ?

    Speed = distance / time

    Speed = 325/6

    Speed = 54.2 km/hr. Rounded to one decimal places.
