    Step-by-step explanation:

    The formula for determining the volume of a cylinder is expressed as

    Volume = πr^2h

    Where

    h is the height of the cylinder.

    r is the radius of the cylinder.

    The diameter of the cylindrical bowl used to serve the patient soup daily is 7 cm.

    Radius of the bowl = diameter/2 = 7/2 = 3.5cm

    If the bowl is filled with soup at height of 4cm, then the volume of soup in the bowl would be

    Volume = 3.14 * 3.5^2 * 4 = 153.86 cm^3

    The volume of soup prepared to serve 250 people would be

    250 * 153.86 = 38465 cm^3
