    Last year the population was: 3,460.

    This year: 3,460 * 1.35.

    Next year : 3,460 * 1.35 * 1.35 = 3,460 * 1.35² ... etc ...

    A function to model the growth of the population:

    y = 3,460 * 1.35^x,

    x - time in years.

    Answer:

    A) f (x) = 3460 (1.35) x where is 1.35 the rate of growth
