    Step-by-step explanation:

    Y+1=3x

    Rearranging

    y = 3x - 1 ... (1)

    and

    2y=6x-2

    Dividing through by 2

    y = 3x - 1 ... (2)

    (1) and (2) are the same so they have same slope and intercept

    Comparing with y = mx + c

    Slope m = 3 and intercept c = - 1
