Chris is driving his car at a rate of 32 miles per hour. Albert is driving his car at a rate of 36 miles per hour. Both started driving at the same time. If you were to graph each linear relationship, what would be the difference in the slopes of the lines?

    Use the formula r = d/t. Your rate is 24 miles divided by 2 hours, so: r = 24 miles : 2 hours = 12 miles per hour. Now let's say you rode your bike at a rate of 10 miles per hour for 4 hours.
