Explain the diffrence between evaluating 3 times 7-4 divided by 2 and evaluating 3 (7-4) divided by 2

    without parenthesis () the order of operations says that multiplication comes first. in the first one, you would multiply 3 times 7 and then subtract 4, then divide by 2. but in the second one, there are parentheses around 7-4, so you would subtract 4 from 7 first and THEN multiply by 3 then divide by 2.
