Is 2 (6-3x) + x equivalent to 2 (3) + x

    Let's check that,

    2 (6 - 3x) + x

    = 12 - 6x + x

    = 12 - 5x

    But,

    2 (3) + x

    = 6 + x

    as we can see the results are different hence they are not equal.
