    Answer: 4cm

    Step-by-step explanation:

    a+b+c=46 (b=c two equal sides)

    a+2b=46

    a+4=b-7

    b=a+11

    a+2a+22=46

    3a=24

    a=8 (length of base after lengthened)

    b=19

    b=19

    8-4=4 (length of base of original triangle)
