    144

    Step-by-step explanation:

3/4 of the dinner tables are full (each table is 3/4 full)

    3/4 of 8 = 6

    6*24 = 144

    OR

3/4 of the dinner tables are full (3/4 of all tables)

    3/4 of 24 = 18

    18*8=144
