    P (5) = 4/52=1/13

    P (J) = 4/52=1/13

    P (5 or J) = P (5) + P (J) = 1/13+1/13=2/13

2/13. There are four of each type of card. Since you are talking about 2 types, it is 8/52. Simplify that and you get 2/13.
