    a piece of bubble gum cost 0.15 dollars

    a piece of fudge cost 1.05 dollars

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let x be the cost of a pieces of fudge and y be the cost of a pieces of bubble gum

    Hailey : x + y = 1.20

    Therefore = > x = 1.20 - y

    Livee : 2x + 10y = 3.60

    2x + 10y = 3.60

    2 (1.20 - y) + 10y = 3.60

    2.4 - 2y + 10y = 3.60

    2.4 + 8y = 3.60

    8y = 1.2

    y = 0. 15 (dollars)

    x + y = 1.20

    x + 0.15 = 1.20

    x = 1.05 (dollars)
